Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a peer-reviewed medical journal, the official publication of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. It addresses various facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including operative procedures, clinical or laboratory research, and case reports.
Plastic surgery includes both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Reconstructive surgery concentrates on repairing issues arising from congenital deformities, tumor removal, trauma, or other causes.
